1. Disney on Ice
Audiences can get tangled with Disney characters
Rapunzel and Flynn, and enter the worlds of classic
favourites like Tiana, Cinderella, Jasmine, Ariel, Sleeping
Beauty, Belle, Mulan and, of course, the one who started

2. The Gruffalo
Whether their favourite food is roasted fox, owl
ice-cream, scrambled snake or Gruffalo crumble,
audiences eat up this delectable tale about the
adventures of a clever little mouse in a forest full of
predators. London’s Tall Stories Theatre Company will
present this adaptation of the award-winning children’s
book. State Theatre, Jun 17-22 .
3. The Little Prince
Adapted from the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, this
performance’s timeless message is about the importance
of forming friendships. The Little Prince is an adventure
story that celebrates the strength of a child’s imagination.

4. The 13-Storey Treehouse
Who wouldn’t want to live in a magical treehouse
with a bowling alley, a secret underground
laboratory, self-making beds, a vegetable vaporiser
and a marshmallow machine? Richard Tulloch’s
stage adaptation of Andy Griffiths’ and Terry
Denton’s best-selling book is part of a national
tour, following a sold-out premiere season in Sydney.

5. Jasper Jones
Adapted for the stage by WA’s Kate Mulvany, this is the
performance of the award-winning novel by Craig Silvey.
The story of Charlie Bucktin (a geeky thirteen-year-old
living in a country WA town in 1965) and his Vietnamese
best mate Jeffrey Lu follows their interaction with Jasper
Jones, an Indigenous 14-year-old outcast. One for older
kids (with some language warnings and adult themes).
