CAROUSEL AND CLOTHESLINE
A bit of comedy, tons of acrobatic skill and plenty of irony
makes this hipster circus group a treat to watch. With a minimal-
frills stage, the focus is on their innovative performances and
a storyline that both laughs at and appreciates the struggle of
everyday life. Fringe World’s Pleasure Garden, Jan 30-Feb 2.

In true circus fashion, this group of international talent
has come together to create something spectacular.
NoFit State Circus started in 1986 with a group of
five friends. They believed that in order to create
a performance with true heart and soul, they needed
to live, work, eat and travel together. NoFit’s unique
philosophy clearly works, as their immersive shows are
awe-inspiring. The stunts in Bianco happen all around
you – above, behind and below – as you walk through
an old-school circus big top. Tightrope and trapeze
acts are reinvented and nail-biting stunts are
performed to a live band. Perth International Arts
Festival 2014 artistic director Jonathan Holloway
loves Bianco, saying “you share the excitement,
the fear, the danger without ever having to leave
the ground.” Better yet, this circus has an adult-
friendly-twist; with a bar and live music to enjoy.
NoFit State Big Top, Ozone Reserve, Feb 11-Mar 1.
After a whirlwind world

Perth to wow audiences in
a Vegas-style performance.

magic show. Crown Theatre
